We are finally located in our new facility which is much larger and allows us the space to spread out for production, warehousing, and product development. PROFILE: BDG Sales as a company. Now in our 8th year!
We started our company back in March 1998. BDG Sales really began by accident. We were getting requests from friends to make them some of the items we had in our own inventory of toys and furniture. Sometimes, they wanted what we had and, at other times, it was for pieces they could not find. We saw a void that needed to be filled. The rest is history.
We got tired of seeing substandard quality and inflated prices for dungeon products. We also kept hearing about just plain bad business practices; non-returned phone calls, unanswered emails, and credit cards that were charged weeks, sometimes months, before shipping the product.
We thought we would try something rather novel ... to provide quality products at fair price, treat customers with respect, and to conduct our business the same way we wanted others to conduct theirs. So, we set out to do things the right way. We try our best to return emails promptly, answer your phone calls, and deliver our products as close to the promised date as possible. Our usual practice is to charge credit cards for merchandise when we actually ship, unless we discuss the need for you to make a deposit on a custom piece. Oh yes, we have delays too. We try to give honest, realistic, delivery dates. On some items, that could be weeks, and sometimes months during peak times, like around IML. But, unlike many other companies, we'll try to keep you informed. The Academy Chair continues to be one of biggest challenges to get into full production.
We keep you advised of some of our "away from the office" activities. We have expanded business hours from 10 a.m. to midnight, EST to make us available to answer your questions and talk to you about the unique aspects of our products. We are usually available 7 days a week to serve you.
